Our current six councillors have made a huge difference in this city and you could be part of it… We are always looking for men and women to stand up and make a difference.
Derby Is Thriving But…
Derby has extremely rich heritage and is thriving but many areas are neglected and are in need of care. The focus has gone from providing great service on behalf of the people to large projects that dominate that budget and grab the attention. This has led to a decline in our services, our parks, our highways and our care. The government has also cut funding and now controls much of the councils operation by providing targeted grants. This means that highways spending for example pays for bus lanes and electric chargers rather than the much needed repairs to our infrastructure. Much of the money required is available, it’s just not being spent in the right areas.
We are working to bring change to this nation. It takes focus, dedication and pure hard work to bring change but we are making great progress. Our small band of dedicated workers is growing fast and delivering change right at the heart of this city and it’s exciting.
